Get Character To Rotate With Analog Stick Without Snapping Back to 0,0

I am trying to get my character to rotate in the direction that the analog stick is moved without it snapping back to the upwards position when it is no longer used.
I have tried using these two approaches and neither seem to work how I want them to

I think I’m trying to do the same thing and I’m pretty sure I figured it out. Here’s the link to my post about it. I’m sure there’s some micro problems with it, but none that seem practical to happen from my small testing.
