I have a project consisting of two components: one made of laser scans (imported as registered, so exact) and one made of pictures taken from the ground. I am aligning the two components, and it seems to be working well. Since the scans are imported as registered, I assume that the component with the photos is aligned and scaled on the laser scans and that the scans remain unchanged. Is this correct? If this is true, what would happen if I georeferenced the new, larger component (laser scans and photos)? Would this affect the scale of the component?
