Geometry...

Read somewhere that Geometry is not meant for actual ingame stuff building… is it true? Can I build building using Geometry in unreal?

You can, but performance is not as good using that type of geometry, and the tools you have available are much more limited than what you would use in an actual 3D modeling software.

I’m building like top down game running around the city,… so I was thinking the chamfer edges doesn’t matter thats why am thinking to do it in Unreal and it’s easier to plan too… originally had to block out everything then export the mesh into fbx and redo everything to scale from the fbx and it’s taking up lots of time…

It’s good to learn the workflow fully so that you can get things imported to where you don’t have to do as much in UE4 to make your objects usable.
