Geometry Scripting: How to Bake Material IDs to Static Mesh?

Hello,
I can’t seem to get the material IDs to work once I bake the dynamic mesh to static mesh, my static mesh still shows only 1 Material Slot. (Left-Static mesh, Right-DynamicMesh)

I have two slots one for floor and one for walls.

Ah sorry I was a bit fast to post the question, I just found out in a comment on Ryan Schmidt’s video that there is an option setting in your bake to static mesh function.

This solved my issue.
