Geometry Collection Breaking All At Once

A geometry collection I have is breaking all at once.

I want it to break at a section I specify, but the rest of the collection to stay together until damage is again applied.

I have an anchor field in the scene that is specified in the initialization fields of said geometry collection. Tried breaking it with radial impulse, or by spawning a directional trigger master field. Both methods worked, in that they did cause destruction, but the whole piece breaks at once. I need it to fracture only at the specific place.

The master field scale was 0.05, radial impulse radius also low.

Tried with damage propagation on and off, same result.
