Hi, we have been using Niagara to instance animated alembics and static meshes onto particle caches exported from Houdini. The Mesh Renderer in Niagara allows a 4vector quaternion to be set for the mesh orientation. This allows us to export the orient from Houdini and match the exaxct rotations from the cache. We are trying to do the same thing with animated alembics using the Geometry Cache Renderer in Niagara, however this node only allows a 3vector float so we can’t link it to the orient or match the rotation from the cache.
Is this a limitation of the Geo Cache Renderer in Niagara? or is there another way to do this?
Thanks for any help ![]()
