Geometry bloat

Im importing _low_ poly models from 3DSMax. It seems like the amount of faces that Twinmotion turns these low poly models into are quite heavy. My scene, just a few hundred thousand faces in 3DSMax turns into 50 Million+ faces in Twinmotion. Is this intentional and a feature of the unreal engine, is it autogerenrated geometry from Twinmotion materials i apply or is something else going on here?

Thank you for posting your question in the community and this behavior does seem strange. If you are using a keep hierarchy collapse method you will get more meshes and geometry. We would need to investigate this and was wondering if you were using the Datasmith Exporter plugin to bring in your scene into Twinmotion?
