Hi, I am using the markers provided by RC with marker detection tool (generated markers). I have searched the tutorial and on this community but I have not found how to use the detected markers to calibrate the ground plane and reconstruction box correctly.
Can you please help me how use the detected markers for this use cases? My goal is to level the model kind automatically instead of ‘‘using the set ground plane’’ manually every time and also setting up the reconstruction box with the markers.
Hello,
Since you are using markers which act as control points when detected, it is possible to set reconstruction region on those.
If you drop the Set Reconstruction Region dropdown (MESH MODEL tab) you will see an option to set it on the those control points. Just click on them, and the last click (probably somewhere above the object) will set its height.
There is also a Set Ground Plane dropdown (SCENE 3D/TOOLS tab). If you lower it, you can see that you can set it to reconstruction region. This may help you case. Try it out and let us know if it worked.
Hello,
yes it worked! Easier and faster to use this way, thank you for the step by step explanation!
