Generate Unreal compatible terrain heightmaps from LiDAR data using Equator Studios

We recently added support for exporting Unreal heightmaps in our 3D mapping app Equator Studios.

I made a tutorial that shows how to convert real-world LiDAR data to heightmaps using Equator Studios. The tutorial is for Roblox, but the process for Unreal is the same

Thanks for the information.

I’m looking to generate a PNG landscape for an Unreal Engine project of mine, but the best resolution offered on the Equator data menu is 30m, which is unfortunately too low for my needs. I’ve found high-resolution digital terrain map (.laz format) at the following site:

and I’m just wondering whether it’s possible to import that .laz file to Equator in order to create high-resolution heightmap?
