???generate PCG content by material???

I have a landscape that uses an openLand landscape material (procedural). Surely there is some way to generate/filter PCG elements to exist on only certain sub-materials? For instance, If I have snow, rocky cliff, grass and sand I want to procedurally generate grass meshes to occupy only the area with the grass material. I’ve ben searching around but am not finding any materials that cover this.
