Gear VR Developer to implement a C++ feature

Hello,

I’m looking for a developer with a Gear VR headset that can implement a specific feature into an existing UE4.13 project. Currently the app sources many texture assets into dynamic instance materials from within an internal array of textures. I want to plug in those textures not from the packaged app, which is what happens now, but from a folder on the user’s phone. The solution suggested by EPIC’s Chris Babcock was to modify the existing download image node and adapt it to source the images not from a web URL but from a local location. I need the C++ solution to be accessible via BP so I can plug it into the other features of the app which are all built in BP.

Anyone with direct know-how and availability to handle this task can contact me either via PM or by email at cgiteach@gmail.com
I’m interested in a whole project pricing and we can collaborate either through paypal or upwork/freelancer.com

Thanks,
George

why it need to have a Gear VR headset!!!
any engine developer can do it and will work in all devices.

also can u post the link where EPIC’s Chris Babcock suggested that?

Rama’s victory plugin can do that.

Can’t - it’s for Windows only.

that is not hard to make it work on all devices. u just have to have those devices in your hand. right platform specific code for each platform and test.

easy pisssy. but time consuming. needs patience.

Thanks for the input xnihil0zer0, and Muzaheed, that’s why I’m asking for someone with the proper hardware.

Just wanted to update this as one of the two people that actually reached out to me got the job done, so this thread could be closed now.
