A late‑1950s Cold War refit of the world’s most numerous destroyer — 175 Fletcher‑class ships built during WWII. This variant features Mk 33 dual 3"/50 guns, Mk 32 ASW torpedo tubes (1957), updated radar/sonar and revised superstructure layouts — the standard Cold War configuration for NATO and allied fleets.
Cold War–refitted Fletcher destroyers served in Japan, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, remaining in frontline ASW and gun‑escort roles from the late 1950s to the early 1990s.
Note: For Korean War scenarios, use the Fletcher-class Escort Destroyer (DDE, Early Cold War) version. This Mk 33 + Mk 32 refit represents the typical Cold War allied fleet configuration.
Optimized lowpoly model ideal for RTS, strategy and mobile games.
Part of the Cold War Ships Series — Western Bloc.
