Is there any way to use the game animation sample project pawn without it taking 25 seconds to load into standalone game mode? I use standalone mode to get higher true fps but the iteration time compared to only 8 seconds with the default character pawn is such a big difference. Is this just a dependency flaw or some other way to fix it or is this just how it is?
Hey @CyberDev!
It’s just likely due to the things the GASP pawn has involved with it. The default character pawn is as bare-bones as it can get, and the GASP pawn has loads of systems and animations it references. It’s not something you’d run into forever, and certainly would benefit from pruning once you figure out what you don’t want from the GASP pawn, but that’s kind of a last-step thing. If you don’t want to worry about all of the animation things while iterating, by all means use the default character pawn!
