We are seeking a faculty member with professional experience in game development and technical art to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in game design, technical art, and interactive media.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching courses in Game Design and Technical Art
- Mentoring student game projects and portfolios
- Developing and updating course curriculum
- Participating in departmental service and academic initiatives
- Maintaining an active creative, scholarly, or professional practice
What We Are Looking For:
Ideal candidates should have experience in several of the following areas:
Technical Skills
- Unreal Engine 5
- Unity
- Technical Art workflows
- 3D modeling and animation
- Real-time rendering
- Digital content creation pipelines
- Maya, Blender, Houdini, or similar DCC software
- Virtual Production and emerging interactive technologies
Professional Qualifications
- Professional game development experience
- Experience shipping commercial, indie, or serious games is preferred
- College-level teaching experience is a plus
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students
