I am a C++, asm, and C# developer and I was wondering where to get started with unreal engine, considering the scale of the thing it seems quite a daunting task.
I have an understanding of the interface and how to make landscapes and such, but I am unsure how I should tie C++ code into my game and how to develop the game
overall. Any help getting started is greatly appreciated!

Beside the upper tutorial, I would recommend you to take a look at the existing c++ files to get a feeling how it looks like and probably also start making some changes to it (e.g create a improved version of the character class)
