We are seeking a dedicated team member who works well in a collaborative environment but is also capable of working independently.
This is a paid position, with pay scaling with experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A passion for video games
- Ability to concisely articulate game concepts with balanced persistence and analyze and ideate mechanics with equal and opposite force
- Fluency in many prevalent game systems and mechanics but also excel at coming up with new and fun ideas
- An exceptional understanding of game design, mechanics, and how such systems are implemented
- Able to take feedback from directors and team members to iterate and improve your designs
- A technical or programming background
- Strong written and verbal skills, you are able to communicate ideas and concepts easily and precisely
- Experience working in cloud-based environments
ASSETS:
- Previously shipped AAA PC or console title(s) as a Game Designer or equivalent position
- Experience with scripting languages and designer tools
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language
