Game crashing, potentially related to build warning: object imported SphereComponent but it was never saved as an export

Hey,

We’re getting some build warnings when packaging our game, and the assets it mentions are also showing up in the crash report when we try to play the packaged build (it crashes every time).

The crash report show:

I’ve tried all kinds of combinations of resaving/recompiling these assets but I can’t figure out what’s going on.

Any clues?

Do me a favor and try navigating to Edit->Project Settings->Packaging and disabling the Event Driven Loader Enabled setting. Then try again.

Let me know if that helps, otherwise we can continue to investigate.

Hi. I had the same issue as the OP. Turning off the event driven loader stopped the warning from happening.

Hi, just so you guys know, we had the same problem here, lots of warnings & packaged game crashes on startup. Fixed by disabling the event driven loader.

Disabling the event driven loader also worked for me I have been seeing this for months.
