I’ve been doing some research and found the following first
Try running the game using DX11;
Go to Edit > Project Settings
Find Platforms > Windows
And change from DX12 to DX11
Other posts also mention that you should update your GPU drivers, in case they are not up to date
I’m also sharing the post where they mention disabling ‘Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling’, which also worked for other users
Personally It looks like I’m not experiencing those crashes anymore… I don’t know if it could be related or of any help to others but after investigating a bit, I actually found out an abnormal usage of my GPU (constantly 90-100% in idle) due to the latest windows 11 update.
What I did is go to system → Display → Graphics → Default Graphic Settings → and disable “Hardware Accelerated GPU Sheduling”.
After that the GPU usage in idle is now 0-4%… and even with Unreal opened and viewport in “r…
