Game Animation Sample (GASP) character turn with camera

Hi everyone!

I downloaded the GASP sample to practice and learn from it. I created an FPS perspective in the project, and within the character blueprint, I set up the camera, which worked. However, the character doesn’t turn with the camera, so I can move the camera in 360 degrees.

When I hold down the right mouse button (aiming), my character does turn, but I want to achieve the same behavior without holding down the right mouse button. I’ve searched for a solution everywhere within my limited knowledge and tried everything I could, but I just couldn’t figure it out. If anyone could help me with this, I would be very grateful.

Hi! Good Reply! I have a question if I may! I need a topDown twinstick style, everything I changed is working fine, but I cannot get rid of the rotate to camera direction when I aim, I managed to make the character rotate with the right stick, but if I leave it alone or every time I press aim it resets to the X axis of the world. My camera is fix, so I dont know if is the camera or the strafe, I think is the camera, it behaves, of course, like e third person shooter, well, I need to get rid of it… I tried everything! Any help is much appreciated!
