Game Ability System-- Blue prints in 2022

Hi all,

I am curious to thoughts on using GAS in 2022. It seems a hugely powerful system and I am curious if it would be beneficial to my game. Specifically the state based timings and conditions seems like a big added benefit to my workflow.

However the set up seems pretty difficult. I am mainly a Blue Printer, but can hobble around C++.

Is the GAS worth the trouble for setting it up? It seems it could save time in the long run after a painful initial investment.

I’m a solo dev however.
