My cinematic takes inspiration from the rich and captivating world of Polish crime novels from the 1950s and 1960s, which were a product of their time and continue to captivate audiences with their intriguing characters, complex plotlines, and vivid descriptions of a bygone era. These novels were written by some of the most celebrated authors of that era, including Leopold Tyrmand and Marek Hlasko, whose works continue to be studied and celebrated to this day. Additionally, the video draws on the timeless appeal of cinema noir, with its moody and atmospheric settings, morally ambiguous characters, and intricate storylines that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. By combining the best of both worlds – the gritty realism of Polish crime fiction and the stylish sophistication of classic film noir – this video succeeds in creating a unique and unforgettable viewing experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who see it.
