Function outputs can be marked as "by ref"

Outputs don’t have an option to make them “by ref”, (and it wouldn’t make sense either), however when adding a new input or output it auto-ticks the “by ref” option depending on the last input/output made, so if you make an input, and tick the “by ref” option, then create an output, that output will be marked as “by ref” too.

i tried to replicate your instructions in version 4.2.1, but my output pins are still circles (pass by value). which version are you using?

Sorry, I mistakenly understood what you were trying to point out.

I cannot replicate the issue in the image above. What version of the engine are you working on? This may have been resolved in the latest release.

Hi. Ya, I can’t confirm whether it was fixed in 4.2. I’m still on 4.1 (Where it’s a problem).
