I would also like to know. Seems like display cutout doesn’t work.
I am pretty sure it has something to do with additional settings for application or activity:
but right now I’m just making it crash on compile 
Well this post is for iOS , but for Android I think there’s a bug in engine. If you disable launch screens you will get full cut out.
did it works for you ?
