Does anyone knows how can i display fullscreen without the cutout from the notch? using mi9 android 10 for testing on 4.23. I have Display cutout enabled and min/max api 28, but cannot get it to work…

I managed to mmm… have it on my Samsung A70, I only had to go into Settings - Display - Fullscreen Apps. Then scroll to find your app and choose full screen.
I will look more into it, and once I have a solution, I’ll share it here.

Am not really sure if it’s just my device ( Mi 9/ Android 10) . I got notch area to display in fullscreen, when i disabled SPLASH SCREENS. I created a bug report on epic’s page.
I will check my other dpi splash screen and if i come if a solution [4.23.1] i will report back here in case anyone else also had this issue.

have you view if it is checked the constrain aspect ratio in your camera options? for mobiles its better if its not checked… you can enable or desable it via blueprint and getting the device tipe enum
it still not working
are you using a child? could it be that the “constrain aspect ratio” is disable in the parent but not in the child? that was happening to my in the beginning, my solution was to disable the “inherit” and “constrain aspect ratio” option in all my cameras.
I dunno if people are still having this issue but i wanted to comment how i overcame. i did set aspect ration, unconstrained on all my cameras, created a console command node at begin play with the command “fullscreen,” and then checked this box:
Honest to god, ive been trying to make this work on all my test devices for so long now, im not sure what finally did it, or if it was a combination of these things. Hope this helps someone still fighting with the ■■■■ notch.
