I have a simple UE project (a helicopter with a spinning rotor) that i would like to record. All i want to do is record a ~1 minute clip from a camera’s perspective. Everything works fine when playing the level, i would now like to simply record a clip. I will not be moving any characters or props or anything of the sort. Nothing on the internet has been remotely helpful, and i am getting quite frustrated. I really don’t want a link to a website/video explaining how to do it, just a nice, simple explanation. E.g. click window → recorder → record. Also, i would like to record at 240 fps best settings, which my PC can certainly not run, so is there a setting to do that (render the frames slower than 240 fps, then stitch them together)?
Hm I´m sorry, I cant provide you with a step by step solution. But to my opinion if you say you didn´t find anything on the internet, I guess you maybe searched wrong.
Here is how to render a video with the level sequencer: Cinematics with Sequencer: Takes & Master Sequences | 12 | v4.12 Tutorial Series | Unreal Engine - YouTube
… And if you dont know what that is, I guess you have to watch the tutorial
This is working with animations, but I have a blueprint. Anyway, even starting my way from the first tutorial video, I’m still stuck, unable to get it working. I think I’m just going to give up.
