Freeze an actor in the viewport


I’d like to suggest “freeze actor” action in the viewport - just like in 3ds max, where you can freeze an object.
I’m aware that there is “lock actor movement” option, but this still allows for the actor to be selected or rotated.


This would be really useful for the camera as I constantly move it accidentally when viewing it through the viewport. Is there any way to lock the viewport that I am missing?

This was already tracked as UE-847.

However, if and when Epic attends to it, is a different story…
