Huge thanks for the models Dave. I’m using them for an office Demo that I put together and they’re looking absolutely great.

It does not work… the files have an extension .uasset and ue4 just wont import them :frowning:
any solutions?

Try to put them in the Content folder manually.

is there a blender version, because I don’t have 3dmax.

Yea, these are great, we used some of them in a project, but it got cancelled eventually.

how come these are max files? I don’t have max and nothing will convert to FBX. tried autodesk FBX converter and it don’t even see the extracted models.

You don’t need to import them, just put them in your content folder. .UASSET files are already imported into the engine’s native format, basically.

Because the Max files contain the high/low poly and a bunch of modifiers that would be useful to anyone trying to adapt them to something else. If you want FBX, you could export from Unreal.

how do I export them from unreal when I cant get them in unreal?

They’re already imported, just copy everything in the ‘Content’ folder into your project’s ‘Content’ folder and they’ll be there.

I don’t get what your saying. After extracting there is a folder called “source models” and a sub folder called “high poly only” . all the models are in there but they are .max files. I cannot import those into unreal 4 at all. I have no content folder with them in it. Unless I’m missing something.

I think you need to extract or download the files again, there is a folder in the archive with the assets already imported.

Ok I see , when I re extracted all in one folder I see the " unreal content " folder . so did I do something wrong , I copied the whole "unreal content " folder in to a project , and I don’t see any meshes. just materials and textures. But all the models are listed in the project, though the materials and textures folders are all empty.-------------------------------------------------so I tried to drag the ArbitraryStudio folder into my projects content folder , but it says “failed to import” the .Uasset extensions. am I supposed to copy it in right in the projects pc folder?

Yes , your awesome , thanks. I copied them directly in the projects content folder on the pc and they are there. If the project is open it wont let you drag it directly into the content folder in the editor. these should be a big help , thanks again.-----------------------------------Funny because I work on copiers and printers for a living and those you have look exactly like some of them. Is there no copyright issues with them in a game?
