I’ve created an asset, which I needed for an own project.
It automatically detects when the user uses a keyboard/mouse or gamepad/controller.
- If existing, reparent your player controller with the PC_InputDetect
- If existing, reparent your game instance with InputDetect_Instance
Done. Now you’re able to use the functions “Bind On Input Type switched” and “Unbind On Input Type switched”.
Unreal Engine 4.21:
You can freely install and use the asset in your private or commercial Unreal Engine Games project. It may not be sold as a Marketplace Asset or as part of an Asset, or otherwise uploaded and / or declared as your own work. Say: It is only for your games that you as a build version on free or commercial way consumers provides.
