Im quite new to this so forgive my ignorance but 1 is it possible to use the default ue skeleton with this even if its just to change a smaller amount of variables and 2. if so where would be the best place for me to look into this

yes you can use it with default manequin, but you have to edit him like divide into parts to use this system

well, if you don’t want to divide model into parts and you really just want to change colors, maybe you should try to poke into materials

still works in 4.13 BUT you need to go into the anim blueprint, let it add the missing bones then save the changes for animations to work. then add a skylight to the characterCreator map so you see everything etc thankyou for this!!!
