Hello
I’m looking for a character asset, a player like in the FirstPlayerController example, but without weapon (if possible a flashlight or hands) just with movements and sprint/crouch things like that, and who looks human (not plastic)
thanks.

Just use the one from the sample package no?
or download from turbosquid something free, I believe there are loads.
I think here you will find some character assets:
:///
otherwise you will have to create them by yourself
Are they rigged and ready for unreal engine ? Do you have a tutorial on how to use them ?
You have to search for a rigged + animated one After that you can use this tutorial:
If possible i’m looking for a unreal engine asset because i’m new to this, like a basic human character with flashlight (its for a horror game)
I will see what I can do for you Probably today I have time to prepare something
Oh thanks Also do someone have a effective and short course to learn unreal engine 4 as fast as possible (like a 3-5h course to learn Map making, Events, Blueprints and stuff like that)
A good start are the official video tutorials on youtube https://www.youtube/user/UnrealDevelopmentKit/playlists
Thanks I’ll check that
XD Ok, I’m definitely not a animator.
Just download this file and place the uasset files into your project (content folder). Now in the folder you will find a new animbp + 3 materials + a flashlight mesh + the arms with anims + a new character bp. To use the new char bp you will just have to add it in the gamemode bp.
You will have to create your own anims, because those that I made are just here as placeholders -> they look terrible Therefore just open the blend file and take a look at some animation tutorials - export it (with the same filename that I used!!!) - import it - add the anims to the animbp.
Here you can see how you can attach something to a socket (flashlight):
