[Free] 12 km x 12 km tiled mountainous terrain world composition map

Hello,

Here’s a screenshot of a landscape I made with World Machine 2.3, with textures taken from the Epic Landscape Mountain example. I followed the guide at:

http://s24.postimg.org/czyg4inud/tiledmap_screenshot.png

The landscape in the distance fills out as you get closer and the next area streams in.

Here’s the UE 4.7 project files:

Wahou really cool gift and really cool first post : Welcome and Thank you !

This is a cool example.

Can you tell me how to build the lightning for the whole map?

better use dynamic lighting… so you won’t have to build it anymore

btengelh: Once you have loaded the TiledMap, navigate to Window, Levels, select the four tiled levels, right-click, Load. Right-click, Visibility, Show Selected or Show All (to make sure all the tiles are showing… you can hide some individually if you want to see them go away).

Once they are all visible, build your lighting. Come back the next day, and hopefully it will be done -)

For bigger worlds, other developers are using dynamic lighting, because of various issues. Check out what Daedalus51 says here:

how did you fill the map with the material/texture ?

Thank you very much

Hi i want to learn how to import tiled world map from World Machine software if u know can u share it plz i have all the raw tiled exported now i dont know how to import it and get them toogheter as big map terrain

i migrated this to 4.13, and my main issue is that the maps come out stacked, and overlapping. i tried to move them in the viewport, but my directions are disabled with lined out circles. is this normal? or am i doing something wrong? all levels are loaded and visibilty is set to show all. any help would be appreciated.
