Why does my fps drop when I look down? And when I disable the “Cast Shadows” option on the sun, the problem goes away
Use the command
stat gpu
And see what’s slowing the gpu down. That’s assuming it’s on the GPU. To find out for sure use
stat unit
It is definitely strange that looking down causes it. Are you using lumen and virtual shadow maps?
