I know there are a lot of topics like this but none of them helped me. In the built game playing in a window everything is fine, however when I set it to full screen, even if I set to the resolution native and in window, the game starts to lose fps. Even on a practically empty level with no background.
When i set;
sg.PostProcessQuality 0 and sg.ShadowQuality 1 - works fine
sg.PostProcessQuality 1 and sg.ShadowQuality 1 - lose FPS
sg.PostProcessQuality 1 and sg.ShadowQuality 0 - works fine
I tried to set each indicator separately like r.AmbientOcclusionLevels etc. but it doesn’t change this FPS drops, just switching the whole thing, in the case of sg.PostProcessQuality 1 makes the screen darker and with sg.PostProcessQuality 0 brighter and no single setting gives me this effect.

I understand that it’s old hardware but Unreal 4 is also old and the fact that an almost empty game in the window runs on full settings without a problem but with a bit more resolution on almost the lowest settings FPS drops like I’m running Doom on an Amiga 500 is very strange to me.
“could drop to 60 full screen”
by FPS drops I didn’t mean FPS reduction but keep stability, there is massive screen tearing and the screen freezes for fractions of a second or drop to about 20 I think.
“If you get the right hand side of the viewport and move it around, you’ll see it’s proportional.”
sorry i don’t understand this sentence.
“drop the screen percentage”
you mean this?
This works, but lowering it even to 80% gives me a clear decrease in the appearance of the models.
