Forum - Fullscreen Youtube Videos

It would be nice if one of the web admins were to go into the settings for vBulletin,
and allow us to get the “full screen” button for inline videos,

Clicking "watch on youtube to go fullscreen, gets old really fast.

Its just a simple code setting change to allow this.

]But it was a simple code change to get proper date formats, that the majority uses so I’m not holding out any real hope.
(just feedback on how using your forum is to the average user…)

I’ll see if we can make the change, thanks Tramsitthis.

Has this been changed yet?

I checked my browser permissions and they seem to allow switching to fullscreen. However the button for fullscreen is disabled for all embedded youtube videos.

I just clicked the fullscreen button on a youtube video in the wip section and it worked fine for me.

Try deleting you’re cache.
I noticed that started working once I did that.

Just tried with a video in my thread after clearing all but history, didn’t work. [Tutorial] CoD: Zombies Blueprint Tutorial Series - Programming & Scripting - Epic Developer Community Forums

it works for me using IE.

Interesting, I just tried in Edge, which I have never used before, and it does not work in Edge, Chrome, or Firefox on my end.

Is it possible to try it on another computer?

Champion, I deleted my cache and it still doesn’t work. However, I found some embedded video on another site that wouldn’t allow me to switch to fullscreen either. So I guess this is something that has to be solved on my side. As some users are reporting that they indeed can switch to fullscreen from the embedded videos, I think there’s some permission or config problem within my firefox. thanks!

Yes. Same here with FF. (IE works flawlessly).

I checked and the permissions are ok on the FF side… (Also clearing cookies and cache did not help).

It is interesting that it doesn’t work on ANY of my browsers, even Edge and Firefox that I have never really used, unfortunately I do not have another computer to test on till I build my new PC in a few days :\
