Fortnite: Unable to play Cross Platform from Xbox One to PC

My Epic games account and my Xbox One Gold Live account are paired, as well as my fathers, who is also on PC. We are trying to play Fortnite together and we are unable to find the place were we change the Xbox Fortnite in game settings to allow cross play platforms…Been working on this for about 2 hours now. Can I get some help please? Ive tried to follow directions from the World Wide Web, but the option they are telling me to select “In-game settings” and the “Game” tab and then “allow crossplay” is not showing up on the Xbox at all.
