Back in 2020 when UEFN was announced they said that we are going to be able to edit and access the fortnite materials and edit them like we want and i would love to know what happend to this feature, was it delayed and is still in development or was this scrapped and won’t release?
I know we can make material instances from fortnite materials, this gives us the ability to change them up.
I made a material instance of one that had the cracking effect on destruction and was able to change a lot of settings and put in my own texture, this also gives access to things that aren’t in the normal material editor.
That’s one option and it works, but i’m talking about seeing the material nodes etc.
Editing images inside material ane other options you won’t be able to change in instance
