Hi, all. I’ve been trying install/run the epic games launcher on a new hp pavilion laptop/tablet for my little one. I have added exceptions to the antivirus, created port rules for the firewall, added programs to the firewall, changed all child permissions associated with the folders and given full control to all users. I have run repairs and reinstalls a number of times. If the launcher actually launches, it gathers update information, verifies the update, subsequently crashes and then refuses to launch again. Any help or suggestions would be great. This shouldn’t be that difficult. Is there a way to get the actual download file from another location?
