Fortnite Grid (UEFN) - Feature Requests

I absolutely love that we have the functionality to snap walls and floors to the Fortnite grid (also called “Grid 2” inside Creative) and it was the first thing I noticed when loading up UEFN. I will be using this feature a lot, so I thought I’d write a few things that would make it faster for me to use:

  1. A way to visualize where the actor is going to land when you drag it. This way we can tell where the actor will snap as the grid is not visible when we move architecture.

  2. A visual grid that only appears when you drag the actor to move it in 3D space, so you know how far or close it is, and how the fortnite grid corresponds to the rest of the build. As an optional thing would be nice to toggle this functionality from the Toolbar.

  3. A button on the gizmo that allows us to mirror the object on that axis (ideally small so it doesn’t obstruct the view

  4. Rotational controls on the gizmo (when Fortnite grid is active) so you can rotate with only one click and it would move the asset around itself, not around its pivot (pivot is its center or centroid). Currently it takes 2 clicks and one hold click to rotate a building 90 degrees, as seen in the example video below:
