The Progression API is now production-ready
You can now publish islands with custom quest systems, from simple stand-alone quests to layered experiences with multiple objectives.
Procedural Content Generation (PCG) is now available in UEFN
Accelerate worldbuilding with procedural generation in the editor. Automate asset placement to build detailed worlds, like forests, cities, and custom points of interest, without placing every asset by hand. You can also use agents to create and edit PCG graphs through UEFN MCP.
UEFN MCP adds new toolsets :
*** Profiling:** Capture and analyze data from Timing Insights, Verse Insights, Memory Snapshot, and the Spatial Profiler to find and fix performance bottlenecks.
*** Sequencer:** Speed up camera setup, character animation, and sequence editing for cutscenes, storytelling, and gameplay moments.
*** MetaSound:** Import audio files as sound waves, create MetaSounds assets, and configure music, ambience, loops, and one-shot sounds.
*** IK Retargeter:** Retarget existing animations to your own custom characters, including NPCs, with less manual setup.
