Fortnite Ecosystem v37.40 with Known Issues

With General Physics now in Beta, it’s time to publish your physics-enabled islands! To learn more about using Physics in your islands, visit the “Getting Started With Physics” documentation: Getting Started with Physics | Fortnite Documentation | Epic Developer Community

Reckless Railways Grand Station, Reckless Railways Villa, Reckless Railways Houses, and more can be found in the Prefab and Galleries. We’ve also added two new debug commands, ‘Set Health’ and ‘Increase Cold Resources’.

You’ll also find Custom Inventory and Items (Experimental). You can design original items with unique properties and build gameplay systems centered around inventory interactions.

Check out the full v37.40 details in the release notes:

PC players! If you’re seeing a very large GB size downloads for today’s Fortnite update, go to the Settings > ‘Restart And Update’ in the Epic Games Launcher.

If you don’t see this option, fully exit out of the Launcher (including in the system task tray) in order to restart it and see this option. This should reduce the patch size from around 80 GB to a more normal size.

We’re aware of an issue where calling Entity.RemoveFromParent() is not replicating correctly. Entities are not being removed from client instances as expected. We will let you know when we have more information or a fix.

We’re investigating an issue where creators may be unable to publish and receive an “Experimental Feature” flag, even when there are no experimental features on the island.

We’ll let you know when we have more information or a fix.

Some have found that this will allow publishing:

  1. Find and open up your .uefnproject file

  2. Find the flag that says "bIsExperimentalContentAllowed": True

  3. Change it to "bIsExperimentalContentAllowed": False
