Today we have launched for creators the Early Access of Fortnite Communities. The initial release is really geared towards core functionality: setting up your community, your channels, and preparing your first posts.
On launch day, you’ll be able to create new posts or edit existing posts and send them to Fortnite!
We still have a lot of work planned to improve the product over time. Here’s a list of the features we are working to implement next:
Pinned posts. Pin a post to the top of a channel so users will always see this post first.
Turning off replies on a post. Not interested in engagement? Turn off replies.
Community management roles. Invite moderators to help you keep your community channels on-topic.
Cross-posting. Cross-post a single post to multiple channels to share the post without duplicating content. This can help to maximize engagement on the post and manage one single set of replies.
Notifications across devices. Get notified of new comments and reactions on your posts, or new replies to you.
Schedule posts in advance. Draft posts and send them through moderation ahead of time.

Thank you for this! Can you please announce the exact date when it will be launched for everyone? So when there will be a visible connection between data in Communities and data directly in Fortnite itself, so players will be able to see the newest content from the Community for the specific map?
for island link will be nice if we can have a sublevel in order to collect post by islands. In my case i’ve 50 island and be able to “collect” info by subchannel like annunce, bug, player feedback will be better than have only 1 channel collector at top level like in the epic use case where receving player post, like bugs all in one container.
for mod. will help too the possibility to move OT post in the correct channel
I was looking at the docs and tried to turn this existing post into an Announcement, and the OG info from the post got turned into “undefined” in the bullets when I opened it up.
I mainly figured the “announcement” thing wasn’t hooked up because it’s early access, and wasn’t going to mention it, but the “undefined” thing made me nervous.
Would it be cool to have players from island somehow more connected with the forums, maybe a device that can display the forum in a popup or a way to make them interact more or even a button next to like recommend favorite with community or forum
Also taking ingame screenshot quickly and sharing them on the forum would be nice as a feature
