When I run Fortnite, my HDD is reading 100%, about 130 mb/s.
Even if its in the main menu.
I have two ssd-s and one hdd, one for the system and one for games and epic launcher. So basically I don’t understand why it scan/read my hdd, where there are lots of installers(more GB exe-s) and some confidental work related stuff as well…
It is very annoying, degrade the game performance and seems GPDR violating.
After 10 minutes the game did some serious pause(few seconds) and crashed (on 64 gigs of ram).
I verified the game files, there were no issue.
Is there any way to switch off this very annoying and potentially harmful behavior during Fortnite? The anti cheat system should not scan any files that is not running in windows.
Luckily it is searching 10 or so threads parallel on one hdd… That`s why my pc is slow as hell.
