Force LoD in Sequencer

why is it possible to force LoDs of static meshes but not skeletal meshes in the Sequencer?

there’s script you can look at from the meerkat demo that does that

I think the question was:
Why is it not a standard functionality of the sequencer? Since it is already possible for static meshes.

And I have to admit I am interested in this too.

Having an additional BP/script like in the meercat demo, scanning for actors with specific tags, will have a performance cost. This could be safed by having the LoD property exposed for the sequencer.
