Force Feedback blueprint

I’m trying to get a force feedback event to work and have set up as in the image below but I can’t get it to work, (I have set it correctly in the “force feedback effect” variable within the play event, unlike in the image where its empty).

I’ve been using the following tutorial (I cant get the objects to link up or compile, hence the shortened version I’ve been using):

That’s interesting, I’m not sure why the print strings in there, but otherwise that should, at least in theory, work.
