What I bring to the job:
–One and a half years of Unreal Engine development.
–I have released one game as a solo developer. This is a single-player third and first person shooter. This game was made in Unreal Engine 4.
–Working on a second game Medieval Remembrance also as a solo developer. This is a multiplayer third and first person hack and slash horde/survival game. This game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
–I designed a prototype multiplayer version of Apogee that was never released (I can replicate for multiplayer).
–Unreal Engine specific knowledge: control rigs, character animation blueprints, inverse kinematics, materials, collisions, UI development, gameplay mechanics, saving games, databases, level design, foliage, performance knowledge includes culling Niagara, foliage, shadows, and level streaming, visual effects such as emitters and Niagara, and more.
–Blender 3D modeling (every model produced) and rigging with knowledge making metahuman based models. Along with retargeting animation experience to streamline adding characters. High level of proficiency with retopology as well for performance targets.
–Adobe Substance Suite skills. This is the sole program I use for texturing my blender made models. I have experience baking my high poly models on to low poly performance models.
–I have some Adobe Photoshop (UI design) experience as well as Premiere Pro (Trailer Design).
–I own a Rokoko Pro 2 motion suit so I can aid in animating for your project as well (this suit integrates well with Unreal Engine).
–Currently learning C++.
–I have a 4 year degree not relating to game development.
