[For Hire] Electronic/Experimental/Metal musician seeking to branch into new territory!

Howdy! My name is Brandon Sills, and in this post, I’m going to pitch myself as a musician seeking to offer music as a chill atmosphere or heavy mood to a game project.

I’ve been making my own stuff for 25 years, and have only recently gotten involved in collaborations and consultations for other musicians outside of a typical band environment.

My expertise has been predominantly in industrial and metal genres, but I have also experimented within the 80s synthwave, chiptune and ambient/dark ambient styles.

My best “career highlights” are playing bass guitar for a notable band in the last decade (including on their 2nd studio album), and collaborating with a well known YouTuber.

Sound design in the musical area is something I enjoy experimenting with, and learning something new every day.

Selling myself is hard because I rarely ever tried to, but I try to let my work do the talking.

What am I looking for out of this? What am I expecting at the least and at the most?

Making music that can bring your game to life. Whether it is a light atmosphere or a dissonant and tense build-up to a boss battle, I probably have a solid idea for those moments.

Something that will challenge me to imagine what an environment would be supported with. Bright blues and greens, will it be an adventure, or just the start of the action? Dark reds and indigo, is it haunted or is it just pure evil?

Wanting to get involved in game music audio with all the experience I have, and the constant compliments that I should be making music for video games.

Willing to sign an NDA if it is required.

At the end, if the project turned out above expectations, the possibility of additionally advertising and supporting the game project via music release on Bandcamp and online distribution. (I’ll also clear any issues up with my Performing Rights Organization, if they exist)

So perhaps, time to put down a portfolio that shows what I do or can do? Alright, let’s go!
