For Epic Games: 2 UI Improvements/Fixes

So I’m very impressed by new UE5! What a huge job! Now ofc it’s only an alpha/pre-alpha, yet I thought of asking for two UI improvements/fixes.

  1. Currently, if I change into Foliage Mode I detach the foliage window because of my asset browser that is docked and uses too much space, with a detached foliage window I can shove it to my second display to have it much bigger. Yet when I switch back to Select Mode the window with the foliage settings becomes an empty window without content. I close it. Yet when I change back to foliage mode, the window is docked again. Would be great if that could be fixed so it always opens as separate window instead of a docked one and closes the detached window properly when exiting foliage mode :slight_smile:
  2. The new floating content browser atm is a bit annoying to work with if you want it to stay open longer than just for one action. I suggest adding a PIN-button in content browser that pins the content browser to stay open until one hits Ctrl+Space again which hides the content browser again. This way one can click the pin button and stay in content browser as long as needed, not only for one action, and then easily get rid of it again by pressing ctrl-space. Atm I have it always docked because if I use the content browser I need it for more than one action and it’s very annoying hitting ctrl-space constantly :wink: I’d place the button top-mid area of content browser, big fat round so it’s easily hittable :slight_smile: :laughing:
    edit: or actually I just though about making ctrl-space a toggle and disable this automatic closure of the content browser or make it an options for the settings.
