For blueprint development

hello there im beginner on game Developer and I choose unreal to start with and since unreal use c++ and from what I heard c++ is hard to learn as first language so I choose blueprint to start with and here is my question since we in the end of 2020(where do you think is the best place to learn blueprint (youtube or online course) and how long will take me to be able to start game development and will that help me to understand c++ thank you :slight_smile: ) #STAY HOME STAY SAFE (sorry for the bad English)

Start here:

YT can be OK but it’s not guided - you must know what you want to learn first and quality varies greatly.

While the official documentations may seem somewhat lacklustre here and there, the elementary bits are covered; this could be a starting point if you prefer reading to watching:

how long will take me to be able to
start game development and will that
help me to understand c++

Technically, you can start now - learn by making very simple games or even their isolated features. And the overall understanding of blueprints will help with learning C++ later on. It works both ways.
