Footstep audio issue with Simple Collision Physical Material

Hey all!

I have footstep audio working fine with a BP in a Notify, but it only works when adding a Physics Material Override to an Actor in a world. The same does not work when trying to add the exact same material to a static mesh as a Simple Collision Physical Material.

Any ideas?

For anyone in the same problem, it was due to the Collision Complexity. The Simple Collision Material’s are ignored when Collision Complexity is set to Complex.
