At 7:50-8:30
He creates a new variable as a class reference to an actor we have made. He then goes and browses between the 2 we have made in the tutorial and then he selects 1.
When I try to do the same, I can see both, but I cannot select either.
If i try to drag and drop it’ll show checkmark but not allow it.
I’m not really sure what’s wrong, but I’m assuming it’s something minor.
Any suggestions would be very helpful, I’m stuck ^^
I will watch it later when I can and see if I can help. However, I wanted to say as a pretty new Unreal user, Ive watched a LOT of his tutorials, and they are extremely frustrating because he makes a lot of mistakes and leaves them, but later will explain the mistake or correct it and often you are left banging your head over something that he missed or didnt edit out.
Like many minutes of his tutorials are often wrong and you have to go undo it as he does it - I have no idea why he doesnt edit these bits out because he has great content and covers really helpful stuff. I say this as a frustrated fan, great content but MAN it could be more helpful with better editing. /rant
Ahahaha, I watched part 1 and 2 but didn’t spot what the problem might have been, and it just accepts his “effects” so it feels like it must be on my end somehow.
I don’t know if u know this video specifically, but I’m looking forward to your reply, I’m working on a different system meanwhile =)
